Lanternwall House
A wall to the road, a window to the lake
The road side is solid render with one door. The lake side opens along a 26-metre ribbon of glass that curves where the living room steps down to the jetty.
Ceilings are birch ply fixed in long boards, so the ribbon of light reads the same from outside and inside.
From the water it is just a line of light. From inside it is the whole lake.
