Why we still build models by hand
Screens are good at checking a design. Card and glue are better at finding one. A note on the white models that fill our Oslo studio.

Every project at Hollin Vey starts with a 1:200 model in white card, usually before a single drawing exists.
The model argues back
A model shows you the shadow at four in the afternoon without asking. It shows a client where the front door really is.
We keep every model. There are 312 on the shelves now.
